Natural homemade chicken pastrami with honey and garlic

The ultimate way to make pastrami at home.
Easy to make and the result – Tasty, healthy and low-fat
*make sure to make the chicken marinade a night (or at least a couple of hours) before cooking, so the chicken breasts can be hold in the marinade refrigerated*

10 servings 150 calories per serving (1 serving = 3 thick slices)

The ingredients-
1.5 kg of whole chicken breasts
2 tablespoons of ketchup
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 crushed cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of date honey (Silan) or honey (optional)

Preparation-
Use the ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, date honey/honey (optional) in order to make the pastrami marinade.
Mix all of the above well.
Add herbs, spices or other sauces such as sweet chili sauce, teriyaki sauce, etc. in order to vary and give your own touch to the marinade.
Put the chicken breasts in the marinade bowl (make sure you deep them well in the marinade sauce), and hold it in the fridge for the whole night or at least a couple of hours before cooking.
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade.
Place each chicken breast ​​on a deferent baking paper.
Pure a tablespoon or two of the marinade sauce on each breast and wrap it with the baking paper.
Place all the breasts on a baking tray and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
In order to make sure the pastrami is ready, open one breast and make a small cut, It should be completely white.
*Beware of over baking the chicken, which will make it too dry.
Serve warm or cold, as a meal or in a sandwich.
